Great motel for a few nights. Clean and tidy, free parking. Located in a great spot where its easy to walk to any place you might want to see. The lady at reception (whose name I didn't catch) was fantastic, really personable. She gave us tips where to go to see seals, what company was best for tours and a few different places to eat. I also thought it was great that the room had a selection of crockery and cutlery! Not just coffee cups and teaspoons. Made it easy to bring your own food home and eat. Beds also were pretty comfy for a motel. Thanks for accommodating us!
We were told the carpets had been shampooed that morning and were dry, they weren't ! We had to put towels on the floor beside the bed so our feet weren't wet when we got into bed. The rooms should not have been let until the floors were properly dried ! We couldn't sleep because the room had that damp feel to it ! On the up side the shower has great pressure !
Large clean room with one big comfortable bed and one small single. Very basic as in there is no decoration on the walls just bricks apart from one canvas of a photograph of the area kindly marked up with points of interest.Sink, microwave and fridge off to one side with coffee, tea etc but no kettle or cups so we couldn't make a drink.You can only see the sea from the end of the building rather from the rooms (one room can see it but no others) and it's close to a very noisy road that is busy from very early, I didn't find it relaxing.The woman looking after the property was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.Simply put though I wouldn't book again as the road is too much for me when I am on my holidays. Its a shame as this is a good budget motel and if traffic doesn't bother you, and you don't mind basic then book.
Comfortable beds, hot shower, friendly and obliging host. And a two bed apartment style unit for $120.
Basic budget motel. Good for a one night stay. Reception staff very helpful and informative.
