Lovely, spice filled food with tender meat. Quick, friendly service and great tasting meals.A great addition to Narooma cuisine.
The restaurant has nice setup and very good outside view. Very clean. The staffs were extremely friendly at the same time the owners looked very grumpy didn't even smile or look at anyone. Entrees were good. Main meal one of the dinner plate was still wet. Chicken korma had 2 pieces of lamb in it. Butter chicken and korma was still a bit cold. Prawn kadai full of oil. An Indian restaurant with only garlic or plain naan.I gave 2 star because of the staffs otherwise a big ZERO. If anyone who says it's the best in NSW then I recommend go and try at Alishsaans at Campbelltown. I am a cook myself and I think you could do better. I know everyone got a different taste and one cannot please everyone but this is my honest opinion. To me and my children the food had no taste.FYI Sorry Sir/Madam I don't have a family or friends here. I am on a holiday. Get your facts right don't reply on assumptions. I don't have any connections with your ex employees or current ones.
Nothing better than this place in all over Australia specially quality of food ..Kids playing room availability thats fantastic..will came back soon
We went on a Sunday night, yet the restaurant was only half full. The food was good but the service was very poor. We waited an unreasonably long time to be served and even had to remind them of our order and ask for our food. Other customers had finished their meal while we still had not been served. As soon as we asked, the food and drinks arrived. It felt as though they had forgotten about our order. Staff walked by wordlessly while we sat at our table feeling invisible. Despite clearly being upset, there were no apologies even at the counter where we made a direct complaint. That being said, the problem was very much with the waitress rather than the chefs as the food was very good (although the portions were small). If you are a fan of spice and find it difficult to find genuinely spicy food, ask the waitress to make the vindaloo spicy and it will definitely be spicy. Personally, however, I would not come again since it was a waste of time.
I won't be there again, on Xmas day they were the only place open so we decided to order a late lunch, the person behind the counter said only Indian food, so we decided on night menu and went back to order, then to be told we could only order from a special menu.. it was quite cheap so we did, and then was told they were no longer serving special menu and tried to charge for night menu prices, I mentioned this and was only charged special menu prices, ordered a few minutes xtra bits but only to receive half the food we had paid for, when I went back to ask about the rest of the order a few minutes later the place was closed and no-one there! Extra bad service on Xmas day....
